Adventure
Lantern Hollow
★★★★★ 4.6
Lantern Hollow is a slow-burn adventure and I mean that as a compliment. You wander a hand-drawn village at dusk, lighting lanterns and piecing together what happened to the people who lived there.
The puzzles are woven into exploration rather than dropped in as separate rooms. You'll find an object, remember something odd from earlier, and connect the two. Nothing is timed, so you can put your phone down and come back without losing your thread. It's fully offline.
It's a short game, maybe four hours, but it stays with you. If you enjoy atmosphere over action, this is an easy recommendation.
